Online MBA
Forbes (New York City, Sept. 27) – Enrollment in the Gies College of Business iMBA program at Illinois has grown to more than 2,500 students this fall from a debut cohort of just 114 students 3 1/2 years ago. “We’re selling a Tesla for the price of a Hyundai,” says Gies dean Jeffrey Brown. Gies is delivering significant higher educational value for the $22,000 it charges for the degree and that is why demand has exploded, even though Brown has decided against putting the program into online MBA rankings.
