The Suburban Illini Club believes that a strong connection to Illinois should create opportunity for the next generation. Through scholarship support and student-focused initiatives, our members, donors, sponsors, and volunteers help students pursue their education and remain connected to the broader Illini community. 

Why scholarships matter 

Scholarships represent more than financial assistance. They recognize effort, encourage potential, and remind students that an extended community of Illini believes in their future.

As a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the club is committed to administering scholarship support responsibly, communicating clearly with students and donors, and demonstrating the impact of the resources entrusted to us.

Scholarship opportunities, eligibility requirements, application instructions, award information, and deadlines will be posted on this page when an application cycle is open. If no current opportunity is listed, the application period is not open. 

How selections are made 

Scholarship recipients are selected using the standards established for the applicable scholarship program. The club is committed to an organized process, appropriate review, responsible handling of applicant information, and conflict-of-interest safeguards. 

Celebrating student achievement 

With permission, the club will recognize scholarship recipients and share how scholarship support contributes to educational goals, leadership development, community involvement, and connection to Illinois.
