About Pat Basu:  Dr. Basu is a business leader and entrepreneur who has served as a senior executive in the corporate, government, private equity and clinical sectors. A former Stanford Physician and White House Advisor, Pat currently is President & CEO of Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Pat served as Senior Vice President and on the Executive Leader Team of United Health Group/Optum. Pat helped start Doctor On Demand, the nation’s largest provider of video visits and a telehealth benefit for over 30 million Americans. Pat held roles as President, COO and the BoD for vRad, a public merger turnaround. Vrad became nation's largest provider of radiology caring for 9 million patients annually through 2500 clients. Pat has served as President of two of the nation's largest primary care and specialty medical groups.

Pat took leave from Stanford to serve as a White House Fellow and Senior Advisor. Pat has delivered keynote addresses at over 150 corporations and professional societies. He has consulted for several Fortune 500 firms, vc firms and health systems. He has served on advisory boards including Walgreens, GE, CareCredit, McKinsey & the AMA. He has advised five private equity firms directly or as a board member. Pat has been featured multiple times on national TV including CBS, Fox, NBC, WGN, NPR, and CNN. He serves on the Board for the University of Illinois and Stanford Medical Alumni. He is a member of the U.S. leadership councils with Germany, India, Japan and Italy. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
