About Representative Wheeler: Keith is the State Representative for the west suburban 50th District in the Illinois General Assembly. He is a sixth-generation resident of Kendall County and lives in Oswego with his wife, Lisa, two stepsons, Matthew and Chad, and daughter, Ava. He grew up in Oswego and is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For the last 26 years, he has been a successful small business owner with offices in Oswego and Chicago. He has served as Chairman of the National Federation of Independent Business' Fox Valley Area Action Council for small business. Keith is also past Board Chairman for the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce and still serves as the Chairman of the NFIB Illinois Leadership Council. He is very proud to have served in both of these positions to improve the jobs and business climate in Illinois. Keith describes himself as a pro-constitution, fiscal conservative who believes the role of government has become too expensive and intrusive and has given our children too much debt.
